Ænergy was initially started to bring an unparalleled knowledge of subsea compression and enabling technology to Australia. However, demand for the ability to deliver complex projects and learnings to take stakeholder engagement to the next level, presented an opportunity too good to miss. Ænergy has expanded to now bring Process and Project consultancy expertise to the West Australian landscape.

The Brand
The premise behind Ænergy is a marriage of Scotland and Norway through Engineering and Innovation particularly in the areas of Subsea. The first part of the Company name (AE) is taken from an old scots word ‘ae‘ (pronounced ‘A’) which means ‘one’, and is represented as the Norwegian vowel Æ. The logo is based on the bìrlinn, a traditional boat used extensively in the Hebrides and West Highlands of Scotland from the Middle Ages on. The boat building technique (Clinker built or Lapstrake) is also the technique used for Norwegian Longships.
For decades, Scotland has been renowned for Engineering capability and led the charge with development of the North Sea. Through this industry Scotland has also led the industry in Subsea developments. Norway has been developing technology for the oil and gas industry and leads the field in technology for Subsea Compression. There is a natural alliance between the two nations and Ænergy embodies that same ethos.
That Ænergy is focused on bringing that knowledge base to Australia is no mistake given the huge natural resources and willingness to embrace new technology.
